BioPlus® 2B Performance

BIOPLUS® 2B has demonstrated the ability to support optimal gut health,
support sow weight maintenance, and aid in producing heavier piglets compared
to controls at the same age when sows are supplemented for a minimum of 31 days
prior to farrowing and throughout lactation. In three recent Chr. Hansen
studies 2019 – 2021, piglets from BIOPLUS® 2B fed sows and control sows
were weighed at 17 – 19 days of age. Below are the comparisons of the piglet
weights in each study:

This is not only a recent phenomenon as several historic, but similarly conducted,
trials with older pigs at weaning (28 – 35 days of age) demonstrate a similar
trend when sows are supplemented with BIOPLUS® 2B prior to farrowing and
throughout lactation.
